Teachers who sign up win the Minecraft licenses for their class
How to register for the Raffaello project in Minecraft
To be able to register your class, simply click this link no later than 30 November 2018. The initiative is aimed at all Italian primary and secondary schools. Fill in all the fields in the form and submit your application. Minecraft licenses are limited and therefore will be available while stocks last.
The prizes available
Every teacher who is enrolled with his class receives first of all for free for his students the Minecraft licenses. With these licenses, in addition to participating in the Raphael project in Minecraft, the class can begin to see the endless potential of Minecraft even in the field of coding, storytelling, chemistry and more.
The most important award consists in offering a place inside the museum of Palazzo Ducale in Urbino ready to host the winning digital projects. In this way children will become protagonists even as small artists as all museum visitors (about 200,000 people per year) will notice these innovative digital works.

Purpose of the Raphael project in Minecraft
The National Gallery of the Marche through this competition for schools aims to stimulate participants on research and documentation of the life of Raffaello Sanzio, promote the use of the game as a tool to transmit their creativity and invite participants to put together the skills acquired in art traditional with new technologies.
What the participants have to produce
First of all the schools will be provided with our Minecraft world of the city of Urbino and starting from that, using some Minecraft blocks, will be able to create the digital contents requested by the museum. Watch this video of our Minecraft Certified Trainer Marco Vigelini who uses the Camera object and the "Book and Goose Pen" to create a small digital storyboard.
Technical support
Not able to use Minecraft? You do not know what to create and how? We are here and we make our skills available to the participants to allow you to participate successfully in the initiative. We will produce more simple and clear video tutorials on how to make the digital materials that await the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche.
Obviously the content will have to get out of your students' creativity and your teacher supervision. Once you fill out the form you will also receive the email and the phone reference of our Michela Deriu that will promptly help you to clarify any doubts you may have.
Are you ready to start then?
