The M9 Minecraft contest
The contest organized by M9District and M-Children (www.mchildren.it) and promoted by Global Minecraft Mentor Marco Vigelini (www.makercamp.it) intends to developing skills in the field of active and democratic citizenship, inspired by the UN directives.
Theme: ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP
Construct in Minecraft one or more buildings of public utilities (social and / or cultural) for one's neighborhood bearing in mind the indications of theAgenda 2030”(Which mentions themes of social inclusion, sustainability, accessibility etc.)

The competition and the prizes are open to schools from all around the world.

The winner will be announced by the end of May 2020 Venice Foundation will provide accommodation and breakfast for three nights in Venice (Italy) for the winner Museum M9.
Project evaluation criteria
Projects will be ranked by a panel of experts. The following criteria are in the assessment:
- Coherence between the project and the development strategies of the 2030 Agenda: energy saving, security, accessibility and environmental sustainability;
- the promotion of teamwork, the positive debate between equals, the agreement of a general interest, the effectiveness of a well thought-out project.
