The M9 Minecraft contest

The contest organized by Polymnia Venezia ( and promoted by Global Minecraft Mentor Marco Vigelini ( intends to focus on issues related to urban redevelopment in the broad sense of the term and, inspired by the UN directives, invites the classes to design an “urban” space around the M9 district that has been in detail reconstructed with the educational tool Minecraft and which we will make available as a starting point for your project.

Starting from a common layout, (a reconstruction of the entire M9 district reproduced in the Minecraft environment) each participant must develop a urban regeneration project, with the aim of creating an ideal, child-friendly city or urban space.
